The Macedonia Baptist Church  Scholarship Committee is excited to present "The 2nd Annual Donnell E. Callis Scholarship Fashion Show!
 
The Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, in the Carrie N. Baker Fellowship Hall. 
 
For those who didn't know Donnell, he was a humble and kind-spirited person who pursued his education after graduation from High School in May 1993 and attended Hampton University.  Donnell went on to join the Marine Corps to serve his country during the Persian Gulf War and enjoyed being amongst his fellow mates.  However, Donnell was not able to continue his career, as he passed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1992.
 
The Scholarship Committee continues to show love for Donnell by honoring a $500.00 scholarship to a student of Macedonia Baptist Church, that exemplifies the same goals and aspirations Donnell had. 
 
The committee is currently looking for models (all ages) for the Fashion Show.  The categories are:
 
* Church Attire with hat  /  Business /  Formal  / Urban Wear  / Ethnic  /  Casual/Sports wear
 
If you would like to participate, please see one of the Scholarship Committee Members:  Deaconess Bernadette Rollins, Sis. Juanita Horn, Deacon Bridget Canada, Sis. Cathy Parker, Sis. Maude Williams or Trustee James Butler.
 
The committee is looking forward to having a great time in the Lord!  Please spread the word!  Invite others to join us in this celebration of great honor!

Please join us on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Recognition.  (Communion Sunday)
 
Our Installation of Officers will be held on Sunday, January, 26, 2025, during the 11:00 A.M. Morning Worship Service.  We ask all Officers to please be present for this Installation Service.
 
Each Sunday, during the month of February, we will have a "Black History Moment."  
 
A meeting will be held for those going on the Sight & Sound Bus Trip to see "NOAH," on Sunday, February 2, 2025, immediately following the Morning Worship Service. (Bus payments for the month of January is currently due).
 
"Super Bowl NFL Jersey Day" is Sunday, February 2, 2025!! Please feel free to wear your favorite NFL Jersey!  
 
Pastor, Deacon(s) & Trustee(s) meeting will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, 7:30 P.M., at the Church.
 
QUARTERLY CONFERENCE  
 
 Our Usher's Annual Day will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025.  Morning Worship Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. and our Ushers Program will be at 3:00 P.M., with Reverend Irving L. Woolfolk from Ebenezer Baptist Church, Supply, VA., as our guest preacher.  Please invite others to join us for both services.
